Cooling System

Two-Stage TEC Cooling System

ATR294M features a two-stage Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) with controllable fan, allowing the sensor to operate at temperatures up to 42°C below ambient. The exposure time can be set for up to 1 hour, ensuring every detail is captured. Even in summer, it can maintain cooling temperatures from -5°C to -10°C throughout the night.

Efficient Cooling Design

The integrated heat dissipation structure and efficient cooling module ensure stable operation even in summer, maintaining cooling temperatures of -5°C to -10°C throughout the night. Temperature deviation is controlled within ±0.1°C.

ATR294M anti-dew technology

Anti-Dew Technology

ATR294M adopts advanced anti-dew technology with a heating function consuming about 5 watts (can be turned off via software). The dew heater at the protection window has 4 adjustable levels.

Performance Analysis

Camera Parameters (Full Res, RAW 14-bit, Temp: -10°C, HCG)

High Conversion Gain (HCG) mode optimizes read noise for low-light deep sky imaging, ideal for narrowband and faint object photography.
