RGB three-channel filters are essential tools for monochrome astronomical cameras to capture professional-grade images.

ToupTek Astro LRGB filters utilize advanced optical materials and precision coating technology to selectively transmit celestial radiation while blocking urban light pollution. This not only vividly reveals the authentic colors of the night sky but also significantly enhances image contrast.

Even faint celestial targets can display rich detail. Extremely low halo effects ensure every image maintains excellent fidelity, elevating your astrophotography to new heights.

  • Horizontal axis represents wavelength (unit: nm), vertical axis represents transmission (unit: %)
    Gray line: L channel Red: R channel Green: G channel Blue: B channel
  • Emission nebula signal bands are primarily concentrated at 656nm (Hα), 500.7nm (OIII), and similar wavelengths
  • Light pollution peaks typically occur near 540nm and 590nm (sodium/mercury lamp bands)
  • Astronomical filter transmission regions are carefully designed to avoid these interference bands, ensuring effective signal passage while enhancing contrast and image purity

L L Filter (420–690nm): UV/IR cut-off, enhances contrast and sharpness
R R Filter (595–695nm): Emphasizes Hα and SII bands
G G Filter (495–580nm): Suppresses mercury/sodium pollution while transmitting OIII
B B Filter (400–510nm): Captures Hβ and OIII radiation

ToupTek filters utilize high-purity quartz glass substrate with transmission >90%. Features excellent blue-violet light transmission and thermal stability, ideal for demanding astronomical imaging applications.

Employs IAD (Ion Assisted Deposition) coating technology. While more expensive than traditional vacuum evaporation, it produces denser, more uniform coatings with superior durability, corrosion resistance, and environmental stability.

ToupTek filters employ proprietary multi-layer coating systems—including single-side cut-off, front surface AR coating, and edge blackening—to eliminate halos, minimize stray light, and ensure long-term durability.

All filters feature OD≥5.0 cut-off depth, blocking unwanted light, eliminating artifacts, and providing authentic color reproduction.
