12-bit ADC and ROI Support

ATR2110C features built-in 12-bit ADC with 12/8-bit output modes for hardware binning and smaller resolutions. The camera supports hardware ROI (Region of Interest), where smaller ROI size results in higher frame rates.

  • Full Resolution: 9504×4440 @ 85 FPS (LCG) / 40 FPS (HCG) in 12-bit USB3.0
  • Half Resolution: 4752×2220 @ 240 FPS (LCG) / 80 FPS (HCG) in 12-bit USB3.0
  • High Speed Mode: Up to 120 FPS at full resolution in 8-bit LCG mode

512MB DDR3 Memory Buffer

ATR2110C camera has a 512MB (4Gb) DDR3 ultra-fast memory buffer to ensure stable image transmission, reducing the burden on your computer's transmission system. The buffer helps maintain data transmission stability and effectively reduces amp-glow by allowing temporary image data storage without immediate transfer.

HCG/LCG/HDR Mode Switching

ATR2110C supports three conversion gain modes to optimize performance for different imaging scenarios:

  • HCG (High Conversion Gain): Ultra-low read noise (0.4-0.61e-) for faint deep-sky objects
  • LCG (Low Conversion Gain): Higher full well capacity (17ke-) for brighter targets
  • HDR (High Dynamic Range): Extended dynamic range for challenging scenes

Binning Support

ATR2110C supports both digital binning (1×1 to 8×8 in stacking or averaging method) and hardware binning (1×1 to 2×2 in averaging method). Hardware pixel binning provides much faster performance than software binning.

Zero Amp-Glow Technology

ATR2110C has been carefully designed to achieve zero amp-glow photo shooting. This not only greatly reduces internal glow generation but also effectively suppresses external light interference. It enhances camera stability and durability, ensuring sharper, cleaner images in both long and high exposure modes.

Cooling System

Two-Stage TEC Cooling with Precise Temperature Regulation

ATR2110C features a two-stage Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) system with controllable fan for heat dissipation. The cooling system allows the sensor to operate at temperatures up to 42°C below ambient under long exposures (>1s), with effective cooling down to -35°C below ambient under short exposures.

ATR2110C TEC cooling system

PID Temperature Control

The TEC system uses advanced PID algorithm for precise temperature regulation toward the target temperature with ±0.1°C deviation. This ensures stable camera performance and superior image quality throughout long imaging sessions.

ATR2110C anti-dew technology

Anti-Dew Technology

ATR2110C adopts advanced anti-dew technology with a heating function consuming about 5 watts (can be turned off via software). The dew heater at the protection window has 4 adjustable levels to prevent condensation during cold night imaging.

Power Requirement: The camera must be powered only by DC 12V 3A power source. USB3.0 no longer works as a power source but only as a data communication method due to the higher power consumption of the sensor and cooling system.
